JOB DESCRIPTION: The role of the mentorship program coordinator is to plan, execute and facilitate a mentorship program that serves youth connected to Cornerstone church.

Job Title: Mentorship Program Coordinator
This is a PART-TIME staff position at 15 hours per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
CREATE AND OVERSEE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
- Develop mentorship framework to serve youth
- Partner with internal ministries to create pathways for youth to join mentorship program
- Plan regular events for mentorship matches to attend
- Partner with internal ministries to help provide wraparound care for families involved with the mentorship program
- Oversee budget specific to mentorship program
- Coach Mentors and Parents through situations involving mentee
MOBILIZE CORNERSTONE MEMBERS
- Cast vision for mentorship program across different groups of Cornerstone members
- Recruit and develop mentors to serve youth in the mentorship program
- Oversee regular training for and evaluation of mentors
BENEVOLENCE
- Help with City Ministries benevolence requests as available
CORNERSTONE STAFF DUTIES
- Be a regular and integral part of the City Ministries
- Be a regular and integral part of the general Cornerstone staff team (staff meetings,
serving on Sundays, team player with needs all across church body/staff)
JOB EVALUATION
Your Job Description will be the basis of regular evaluation and coaching. Your direct supervisor will inspect what they expect from you as an employee.
LONG TERM VISION
- Set up program as its own non-profit organization
- Get staff trained so that program could be nationally certified mentorship program
- Partner with other churches to broaden reach of the program and access to mentors
- Work alongside school-based mentoring program - potential area of growth
