Middle Python Engineer (part-time)

N-iX is looking for a Middle Python Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable web applications. You will work closely with other developers, product owners, and designers to deliver reliable, well-structured backend solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django.


• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications.


• Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimize queries.


• Implement authentication, authorization, and data-security best practices.


• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.


• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of professional experience with Python.


• Solid hands-on experience with Django (Django REST Framework is a plus).


• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.


• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.


• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.


• Understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, JSON, authentication).


• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Ability to write unit tests and work with existing test suites.


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
