Middle School Sideline/Competitive Assistant Coach

Description

Mount Dora Christian Academy, a faith-based K-12 private school located in Mount Dora, FL, is seeking dedicated cheer coaches who are willing to commit to year-round responsibilities. This role includes both sideline and competition opportunities.

MDCA currently offers cheerleading to grades 6-12 at the middle school, JV, and varsity levels for sideline and competitive cheerleading.

The coach is responsible for fulfilling MDCA’s Mission Statement and Statement of Faith.

Requirements

Skills preferred for success in this position:

•Strong faith background

•Strong written and verbal communication

•High degree of background and knowledge coaching cheerleading at the youth or high school level

•Ability to work across academic and administrative departments in a cooperative manner

•Strong team-building/management skills

•Demonstrated experience in program development

Teaching positions are available based on certifications and department openings. It is preferred that the candidate be full time on campus, but this is not a requirement.
