Position: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Amarillo, TX and Surrounding Areas
Schedule: PRN with Flexible Shifts (Potential for Consistent Weekly Assignments)
About the Role:
We seek a Mobile PICC Registered Nurse based in or near Amarillo, TX, to join our specialized vascular access team. In this role, you’ll travel to patient homes, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities to perform ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions and related procedures. You’ll work independently, supported by a clinical team that values professionalism, responsiveness, and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound-guided PICC insertions in-home and facility-based settings
- Assess patients for appropriate vascular access options
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards
- Provide patient and caregiver education on PICC care and follow-up
- Accurately document procedures in alignment with legal and clinical standards
- Communicate clearly with care teams, providers, and facility staff
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 2 years of PICC insertion experience preferred
Ultrasound-guided insertion proficiency required
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Amarillo and nearby areas
- Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
- Flexible availability and a proactive mindset
Compensation:
Highly competitive, based on experience. Premium pay available for urgent or weekend shifts.
