Position: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Odessa, TX and Surrounding Areas
Schedule: PRN with Flexible Shifts (Potential for Consistent Weekly Assignments)

About the Role:

We’re actively seeking a Mobile PICC Registered Nurse based in or near Odessa, TX to join our specialized vascular access team. In this role, you’ll travel to patient homes, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities to perform ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions and related procedures. You’ll operate independently, supported by a responsive and clinically skilled team that values precision and autonomy.

This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are confident in the field, comfortable with mobile workflows, and passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound-guided PICC insertions in home and facility-based settings

Assess patients for appropriate vascular access options

Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards

Educate patients and caregivers on PICC care and follow-up

Document all procedures in compliance with legal and clinical guidelines

Collaborate with care teams and facility staff to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Texas

Minimum 2 years of PICC insertion experience preferred

Proficient in ultrasound-guided insertion

Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Odessa and surrounding areas

Strong communication and documentation skills

Flexible availability and a proactive, self-directed mindset

Compensation:

Highly competitive rates based on experience. Premium pay available for urgent or weekend visits.
