Position Overview:

Mobsters are responsible for working to build, protect, and unite the Dutch Bros brand and culture. They serve as trainers and cultural ambassadors, helping new crews embrace Dutch Bros standards from day one. A Master of Broista not only demonstrates technical excellence in recipes, speed, and quality, but also embodies the Dutch Bros spirit, authentically translating our culture to new team members, mentoring with patience and purpose, and maintaining high standards even without direct supervision. Mobsters are upheld to a higher level of trust and consistency, ensuring that every shop they support operates with excellence, energy, and the heart of Dutch Bros. 

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current and continuous Broista experience with Dutch Bros required at the time of application

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Dutch Bros Shift Lead experience preferred

• Current Franchisee/Operator (or approved shop leader) Verification of Employment required

• Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods of time

• Proficient understanding of Dutch Bros Manifesto

• Ability to take and pass intermittent Dutch Bros knowledge tests as a condition of continued MOB eligibility

• Successful completion of MOB position-based training and MOB Onboarding Checklist (e.g. MOB offer letter, DBU courses, Employee Handbook, I-9 completion, etc.) as a condition of continued MOB eligibility

• Valid identification for travel purposes

• Completion and passing of standard background check and MVR required

• This position requires driving, when necessary and must have a valid driver’s license

Schedule:

• Expectation to travel for extended periods of time (up to 7 weeks) and work extended hours (up to 54 hours per week and/or 6 days per week) to support Openings

• Must attend a minimum of 2 scheduled MOB trips per calendar year

• Expectation to stay in temporary lodging with an assigned roommate through the course of MOB trips

• Must have willingness to travel during holidays

• MOB is utilized for Openings, emergency support, and special events as they arise. Due to the fact that MOB trips are not consistent, you are expected to serve in your home stand when not on the road. Assignment of trips/shifts may be given based on availability, MOB teams, and proximity to the opening or event location

• Leadership & Teaching Readiness: Able to explain the “why” behind processes, teach and mentor others effectively, and take ownership when guidance doesn’t land the first time.

• Behavior & Influence: Embodies Dutch Bros spirit authentically, demonstrates patience and adaptability, maintains standards even when leadership isn’t present, and naturally serves as a cultural ambassador that teammates look to for guidance.

• Business Impact: Helps new shops reach operational standards quickly, drives consistency in service quality, and elevates the Dutch Bros brand through both operational excellence and cultural authenticity.

• Professional Standing: Recognized by peers for strong communication and guidance.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing/walking, up to 10 hours at a time

• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling

• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 65 lbs

• Possible exposure to extreme heat and/or cold temperatures

• Occasional ascending or descending on ladders and ramps

• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine

• Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication

• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances

• Constant cash handling requiring mental math

• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication

Compensation:

$15.00 + tips
