Motorcycle Safety Trainer

JOB TITLE : Motorcycle Safety Trainer

LOCATION : Joint Base Charleston, SC.

DUTIES :

• Provide the most current MSF versions of basic, intermediate, and advanced motorcycle safety training courses for JB CHS.
• Provide training in accordance with Traffic Safety Program, and Navy Traffic Safety.
• Provide web-based online course scheduling, web-based online course registration services, course handbooks and Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) mandatory student and instructor materials (books, training aides, certificates, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and healthy range and work environment in accordance with MSF Rider Education and Training System Standards.
• Provide training range debris removal, monthly reporting of student participation in all courses taken at JB CHS, training range basic weed control, range course painting and motorcycle fuel.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS :

• Valid driver’s license and have a motorcycle license (Class M) for at least two years and possess the ability to ride a motorcycle in the demonstration of riding exercises.
• A satisfactory driving record is also required.
• Must also hold or be able to obtain a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Rider Coach Certification.
• Must have demonstrated ability to teach a diverse group of students with various needs and skill levels.
• The successful candidate must also have strong written, oral, organizational, and communication skills.
