Museum Security Officers (part-time)

Description

The Currier Museum of Art seeks part time security officers to ensure the protection and safety of our 72,500 sq. ft. Museum, providing a safe and secure environment for the museum’s collections, properties, facilities, visitors and staff while delivering superior customer service. Successful candidates will have previous security and customer service experience (prior law enforcement or criminal justice experience a plus!), high attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and decision-making, and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

 

Position requires standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs, and ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.  Must pass a criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license, and be available nights and weekends.
