JOB TITLE : Music Director

LOCATION : Warner Robins , GA 31098

JOB TYPE : Part time

DUTIES :

• Provide musical directorship for the Chapel Service(s) at Robins Air Base Chapel.
• Provide musical directorship for a minimum of one (1) rehearsal and one (1) worship service each week for the Protestant and Catholic worship services.
• Lead the praise team/choir and congregation in worship and vocally lead them as required by the Chaplain/Catholic Priest.
• Possess sound accompaniment skills, competent sight-reading ability is preferred, and be able to perform music from various worship genres.
• Coordinate all support requirements with the Chaplain/Catholic Priest or their designated representative.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION :

• Have five (5) or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience (e.g. playing the piano and/or organ in public performance setting) in a chapel/church setting.
• Be able to sing and vocally lead congregation in worship.
• Be able to plan, organize, and lead a choir/praise team
• Be able to sight read, arrange, improve, play, and score music.
• Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, lay leaders, other musicians, parishioners, Chapel Staff, and base personnel.
