Job title: Music Therapist

Location: Ashville, NC Veteran Affairs Medical Center

Duties :

• Shall provide in-person and remote interviews that will be created, edited, produced, and provided to, and become the sole property of the Veteran(s).
• Shall provide a series of songwriting, music performance, electronic music production, and choral classes. Success shall be based on successful public performances.
• Shall provide private and group music lessons on a weekly basis. Lessons shall include, but is not limited to drums/percussion, bass guitar, mandolin, and ukulele.
• Shall provide studio quality sound and video production of a variety of sources including one-person podcasts/spoken word pieces to large-panel interviews and musical pieces using full bands and small groups, ensembles, etc.
• Shall introduce video production, recording, and editing into the therapies to be included in this project. This will encompass the ability of veterans to create their stories and experiences on video.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy
