Nepali-Speaking Behavior Technician

Behavior Technician (Part-Time, Nepali-Speaking Required) – Akron, OH

Hours:
Monday – Friday: 3:30PM – 6:30PM

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking a compassionate, Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy to a 6-year-old child with autism in Akron, OH. Your Role:

• Work 1:1 with a child in-home using individualized ABA treatment plans

• Teach communication, daily living, and social skills

• Collect data and collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs

• Support families through parent training and consistent communication

• Translate and support the family in their native language when appropriate

Work Environment: This job operates in a client’s home. Candidates must be comfortable entering homes and neighborhoods within the assigned area.

What You Bring:

• 1+ year of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)

• Experience in early intervention (ages 2–6)

• Current CPR certification (preferred)

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

• A passion for helping children grow and succeed

• Reliable transportation to client homes in Akron

• Fluency in Nepali and willingness to translate as needed

Job Details:

• Part-time: ~15 hours/week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30PM–6:30PM

• Pay: $17–$22/hour (direct)

• Location: In-home (Akron, OH)
