Job Description - Nike Studio Manager

In partnership with Nike, the biggest brand in sport and fitness apparel, FitLab is launching a new group fitness experience where members build their best selves with the help of world-class coaches, workouts, and community. To bring this incredible opportunity to life, we are currently recruiting passionate and experienced Studio Managers to oversee the sales and operations at our new boutique fitness studios. 

As the Part Time Interim Assistant Studio Manager at FitLab, you will support the Studio Manager in daily operations with a primary focus on driving membership growth, maximizing conversion, leading sales outreach, and building community partnerships. You will be the engine behind local marketing efforts and lead from the front in membership engagement and sales excellence. This role requires a blend of leadership, sales drive, and community spirit—perfect for someone passionate about fitness, brand experience, and results. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Conversion Leadership

  • Own lead generation through local outreach, grassroots events, and digital follow-up
  • Execute and optimize the studio’s sales funnel: inquiry ? trial ? membership
  • Deliver and exceed monthly sales goals for membership, retail, and recurring revenue streams
  • Provide consistent follow-up with leads, trials, and at-risk members to improve retention
  • Maintain and track KPIs using studio CRM and POS systems
  • Conduct consultations and studio tours for prospective members
  • Train and coach Front Desk and Sales Associates on scripts, objection handling, and service excellence

Community & Grassroots Marketing

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, influencers, and organizations to drive studio awareness
  • Coordinate pop-up events, brand activations, and partner collaborations
  • Represent the studio at local events and in the broader fitness community
  • Assist with in-studio marketing campaigns, referral programs, and brand storytelling

Operations & Studio Support

  • Support Studio Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining studio cleanliness, safety, and visual standards
  • Help manage the scheduling and supervision of Front Desk, Retail, and Sales Associates
  • Assist with retail inventory, replenishment, and merchandising strategy
  • Fill in as manager-on-duty as needed, handling member concerns, operational decisions, and escalation support

Member Experience & Culture

  • Build relationships with members to foster community and increase engagement
  • Support events, challenges, and milestone celebrations that enhance retention
  • Uphold and champion the FitLab + Nike brand standards in every member interaction

Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail sales
  • Experience managing or leading a team in a results-driven environment
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, and data analysis
  • Natural connector with strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • High energy, confident, adaptable, and results-oriented
  • Passion for fitness, community, and empowering others
  • Flexible schedule: availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and events
  • College degree preferred but not required
