The Wags Club is currently hiring Part-Time Dog Daycare Handlers to join our team at our luxury cage-free daycare and boarding facility in West Los Angeles.

What You'll Do
Supervise Group Play
Manage playgroups of dogs and ensure interactions remain safe, balanced, and appropriate.
Read and Respond to Dog Behavior
Recognize signs of stress, tension, or overstimulation and step in early to prevent issues.
Provide Individual Care
Follow feeding instructions, administer medications when needed, and monitor dogs for health or behavioral changes.
Communicate with Pet Parents
Provide clear, professional updates about their dog’s day and overall well-being.
Maintain a Clean Facility
Help keep the daycare and boarding areas clean, organized, and safe for all dogs.
Work as Part of a Team
Coordinate with other handlers and management to maintain a calm, structured environment throughout the facility.
Who We're Looking For
Experience with Dogs Preferred
Applicants with experience in dog daycare, boarding kennels, veterinary clinics, shelters, or training environments are strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Dog Behavior
You understand canine body language and know how to maintain structure and boundaries within a group setting.
Reliable and Responsible
You show up on time, take direction well, and understand that safety depends on your attention and awareness.
Strong Communicator
Comfortable interacting with both coworkers and pet parents in a professional manner.
Physically Active
This is an active role that involves being on your feet, moving through play yards, and handling dogs of all sizes (up to 50 lbs).
