Senior Helpers – South Tacoma is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver fluent in Japanese to support a senior client whose primary language is Japanese. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values cultural sensitivity and enjoys making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Pay Range: $21–$25 per hour (based on experience)

In addition to this assignment, you will also have the opportunity to pick up other open shifts that fit your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Provide companionship and emotional support

  
  


• 
  

  Engage in meaningful conversations and favorite hobbies

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with personal care such as dressing, grooming, and walking

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure a safe and clean environment

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate updates on the client’s condition and activities

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Fluent in Japanese

  
  


• 
  

  Passionate about caring for others

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  CNA or HCA certification required

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license

  
  


• 
  

  Able to pass a background check and drug screening

  
  


• 
  

  At least 18 years of age
