At Home Instead, we're looking for caring individuals in Ames, Boone, and surrounding communities who want to help older adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.
We're hiring caregivers with consistent availability during one or more of these shifts:
Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Evening: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Choose the shift that works best for your schedule!
Starting wage: $17 per hour
Additional weekend shift premium
Annual performance appraisals
Paid orientation and ongoing training
Vacation Pay
Health Insurance and 401(k) with company match (eligibility requirements apply)

24/7 on-call support
Depending on the client's care plan, you'll provide:
Personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Mobility support and help with daily routines
Meal preparation and light housekeeping
Transportation to appointments or errands
Companionship and meaningful engagement
Have caregiving experience or a passion for helping older adults
Can maintain a reliable, consistent part-time schedule
Are comfortable providing hands-on personal care
Are compassionate, dependable, and communicate clearly
Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
