Job Description
 
American Veterans Group is a Veteran founded Home Care company that has been serving our community and taking care of Senior Military Veterans and surviving spouses for over 18 years. We are seeking for compassionate individuals that want to help veterans to become a part of our team across Southern California! 
  
Our caregivers are Care Professionals. They provide an invaluable service to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home.
  

Responsibilities:



  • Cooking, lite housekeeping, laundry and companionship are the primary jobs

  • 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status


Applicant Requirements:
 

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, HCA, or RN

  • Have a valid driver's license

  • Available for 15+ hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).

  • Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply; speaking Tagalog is highly preferred, but not mandatory)

  • Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations

  • Must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android

*Available after probation period of 90 days



Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per week
