Job Description - NUCLEAR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (PRN)

Description

Job Summary

Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.

Requirements

Regulatory Requirements:

Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Actively pursing continuing education requirements
Good Communication skills
