Job Description - Nurse Practitioner


Background: The Illinois Army National Guard (ILARNG) Occupational Medical Surveillance Examination Program requires that all full-time federal employees that are occupationally exposed to hazards receive medical surveillance.
Job Title: Medical Examiner.
Location: Camp Lincoln, 1301 North MacArthur Boulevard, Springfield, Illinois 6270.
Schedule: 07:30-16:30 on Tuesday through Wednesday.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Possession of a valid and current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Duties:
  • Conduct physical exams, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and mobility checks for 55 individuals.
  • Perform Blood Lead/ZPP tests for 55 individuals.
  • Administer Blood and Urine Cadmium screening for 55 individuals.
  • Provide OSHA Respirator Screening and Clearance for 10 individuals.
  • Perform Pulmonary Function Tests for 10 individuals.
