Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community based social service organization that provides therapeutic services to the community. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve children, adolescent and adults in Canton Ga and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner include:

· Provides diagnoses, psychiatric treatment and consultation to the team.

· Clinical expertise and competence in providing direct services.

· Must be able to build strong working relationships with the clients

· Must have experience in working with youth and families with both mental illness and substance use disorders.

· Document all services in electronic health record

· Adhere to authorization requirements per insurance guidelines.

Job Type: Contract status, Part-Time up to Full-Time

Requirements

Requirements for Nurse Practitioner :

· Must submit a valid and official transcript showing proof of degree awarded.

· Preferred: Nurse Practitioner – Certified in Georgia

· Collaborative Agreement with MD

· Two or more years of training and experience diagnosing, treating and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of children, adolescents and adults

· Must practice by the ethical standards of the professional association and state board.

· Be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of Goshen Valley Foundation.

· Complete and pass a criminal background check (DHS OIG) and other safety screenings and drug screen
