Job Description - Occupational Therapist

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist with Virginia Home Care Services, Inc., you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients in Northern Virginia by providing comprehensive and individualized occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and limitations.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' occupational therapy needs.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities.

Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a home care setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

CPR certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with geriatric populations.

Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Note: This is a PRN position, and hours will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
