🌟 Occupational Therapist – Federal School Contract (North Dakota) 🌟 



Employer: SOS Logistics (WOSB-Certified)
Location of Performance: Turtle Mountain Middle School, 1330 Braves Blvd, Belcourt, ND 58316
Contract Term: September 2025 – August 2026 (with option years)
Type: Independent Contractor / Contract Position 


We are seeking a licensed and experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to provide services to students at Turtle Mountain Middle School under a federal contract with the Bureau of Indian Education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of students while working with a supportive school team. 



Responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver weekly onsite occupational therapy services to approximately 9 students.

  • Conduct evaluations (initial and re-evaluations) and prepare written reports.

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.

  • Maintain detailed service logs and student progress reports.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff.

  • Provide training and support to staff and families as needed.





Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.


  • Current NBCOT certification (OTR).


  • Unrestricted state license to practice Occupational Therapy in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience, preferably in a school setting.

  • Ability to pass a federal background check and provide required immunizations.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.





Contract Details:

  • Approximately 6 hours per week (school year schedule, Aug–June).

  • Competitive hourly rate.

  • Travel, lodging, and personal expenses are contractor’s responsibility.

  • Must commit for a minimum of 120 days upon award.
