Metro is looking for an experienced part time Occupational Therapist to treat out of our beautiful Hampton Bays clinic. Must have experience with neuro! Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff, as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

Setting: Outpatient

Location & Hours: Hampton Bays (24 hrs) 

Salary: 45/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one treatment
• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
• Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
• Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
• NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible
• Must have neuro experience
