St. Andrew Catholic Church in Gladstone, MO is seeking a part time Office Assistant who will be responsible for providing secretarial and related office services for the parish and school. This position will average 15-20 hours per week.

Essential Duties:

  • Database management for parish and school
  • Manage and process bulk mailings
  • Manage website and social media, including YouTube livestream for masses
  • Cover front office, which includes answering phones, greeting visitors, making copies and other basic office duties
  • Create documents for handouts, Mass aids, and other parish needs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Handle records and sensitive issues with confidentiality, empathy, and compassion.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work independently with confidence.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Manage filing systems and ensure proper record-keeping 

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Prefer 3 or more years’ experience in a professional setting.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva or other similar software platforms.
  • Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
