Job Description: Office Assistant
Reports To: Executive Administrative Assistant
Summary:
The Office Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and some tech support to ensure smooth office operations and effective communication with members. Responsibilities include maintaining records, assisting with meetings, and supporting membership activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain membership records and post dues payments
- Prepare and distribute membership reports and labels
- Communicate with members, State, and County Board members
- Assist with mail processing, deposits, and office supply orders
- Support meetings, including room setup and basic technical support
- General office upkeep and other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Familiarity with basic office equipment
- Occasional travel
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Employment Details:
- Temporary part-time
- 20 hours/week – Flexible hours during the work hours. More hours as business requires.
Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- $13.65 - $14.65/hour DoE – with an opportunity for an increase in 60 days with satisfactory performance
