The Office Coordinator at Born Primitive Headquarters will oversee and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of the administrative office, optimizing daily workflows, and supporting the overall success of Born Primitive. This position is part-time on an hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
Provides reception to the Born Primitive Headquarters, including answering the front door, accepting and coordinating deliveries, and answering the telephone.
Manages office supply inventory and places orders as needed.
Prepares the office for upcoming events and/or meetings with outside vendors.
Sets up conference rooms for regular internal meetings and initiates Google Meet for employees joining virtually.
Schedules and coordinates travel for Born Primitive Executives and the Events Travel Team as needed.
Coordinates travel arrangements for remote employees.
Schedules and manages calendar events and meetings for Executives.
Assists the Employee Engagement Committee with planning and executing special events such as organization-wide gatherings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Acts as the company representative to coordinate and liaise with service providers including, but not limited to, Waste Management, cleaning service providers, AppleCare, and massage therapists.
Assists with podcast technology setup on an as-needed basis.
Coordinates technology setup for new hires to ensure readiness on their first day.
As with all Born Primitive employees, must be available to assist and support all departments as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing
Must have interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Proficient with or have the ability to quickly learn several different computer applications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Three years of corporate office experience preferred, with at least one year general office experience required
