On Call Banquet Server

La Posada Hotel is seeking enthusiastic On Call Banquet Servers to provide exceptional service during events and ensure an unforgettable guest experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, attending to guest needs, and collaborating with the banquet team. Where you can make an impact:

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down banquet spaces according to event requirements.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and be prepared to answer guest inquiries.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any needs or concerns.
• Refill drinks, clear tables, and ensure a clean and organized banquet space.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and banquet team to ensure timely service.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food and beverages.
• Assist with transporting dishes and equipment between event areas.
• Adhere to event timelines to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Food Handlers & TABC Certification. 

Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays.
• Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
