Operating Room Technician - PRN - 1-2 days/week

This position will rotate among various services such as General, ENT, Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, and Ophthalmology. Prepares rooms, sterile instruments and supplies, and equipment for surgery. Scrubs during surgical procedures. Maintains a clean environment by daily cleaning of all work surfaces and equipment. Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient. Participates in department or unit quality improvement activities.

Outpatient Services East (OSE) is a multi-specialty surgery center with a proven record of providing quality care and cost savings since inception in 1985.  OSE is a 32,000 square feet facility with around 140 staff members.

Located in the Professional Office Building #52 on the UAB St. Vincent’s East Campus, the facility provides 6 operating rooms and 9 procedure rooms. OSE offers board certified physicians and continues to be one of the frontrunners of ambulatory surgery centers, not only in the State of Alabama, but in the Southeast.  

- CPR Certified

- OR Tech experience is required

- Certification is a plus

- Need availability for 1-2 days/week

- Monday-Friday only - No weekends
