Operations Assistant (In-Office Position)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented human who can keep our offices running smoothly — from stocked supply closets to working Wi-Fi and everything in between.

The Counseling Hub is hiring a part-time Operations Assistant — someone who’s just as happy ordering supplies as they are troubleshooting a Wi-Fi glitch or making sure the snack basket doesn’t look tragic.

This role is all about keeping the wheels turning: making sure spaces are ready, events are set up, and little things don’t turn into big headaches. If you’re the kind of person who spots a crooked rug and fixes it without being asked, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping offices stocked, organized, and running smoothly


• Ordering supplies + swag (and yes, creating welcome gifts so new folks feel the love)


• Handling mail, light accounts payable (e-checks + weekly bank deposits)


• Coordinating with cleaning crews, building management, and handling minor office fixes


• Supporting events (sponsorships, reservations, setup, logistics)


• Maintaining calendars and helping with admin odds + ends


• Jumping in on the occasional random project because…life

What This Role Is Not

• High-level strategy or leadership


• Client-facing or therapy-related work


• Managing others


• Remote (sorry — you’ll need to be in both offices weekly)

Hours, Pay, & Details

• Schedule: 10–12 hours/week (occasional additional hours with approval, never more than 15)


• Location: Columbia + Jefferson City offices (1 day/week in each). Other hours are flexible.


• Pay: $18/hour (W2 employee)


• Benefits: PTO accrual + optional healthcare sharing after trial period
