Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry of the Keys is actively looking to add a part time skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our growing team at our practice in Big Pine Key, FL. If you are interested in 2 or 3 days a month in the Keys, we would love to speak with you!
We are a well-established and patient-centered dental practice. Our mission is to provide exceptional dental care in a compassionate and professional environment.
We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to provide expert care in diagnosing, preventing, and correcting misaligned teeth and jaws. The Orthodontist will be responsible for developing customized treatment plans, fitting orthodontic appliances, and monitoring progress to ensure excellent esthetic and functional outcomes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with patients of all ages and adept in both traditional and modern orthodontic techniques. Clinical confidence and the ability to manage patient expectations are vital.
The PROS:
- Compensation based on experience. Includes production-based and/or day rate
- Part Time 2 – 3 days per month

Role-Specific Responsibilities:
- Examine patients' dental and jaw alignment and diagnose orthodontic issues
- Create individualized treatment plans using digital models and diagnostic tools
- Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances including braces, aligners, and retainers
- Monitor progress and modify plans to ensure successful treatment outcomes
- Communicate clearly with patients and guardians about treatment expectations and care routines
- Collaborate with general dentists on referrals and treatment coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Educate patients on appliance care, hygiene, and long-term retention strategies
- Ensure adherence to safety, sterilization, and OSHA compliance standards

Role-Specific Requirements:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency program
- Valid state dental license and specialty licensure in orthodontics
- Current CPR certification and continuing education compliance
- Proficiency in orthodontic equipment and digital imaging
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient care
