Easterseals Iowa is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our Brain Health team. What You’ll Do:

As an Outpatient Therapist, you will:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients and their support systems.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic care.
• Advocate for clients at organizational, local, and policy levels.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

We currently have one full-time (salary) and one part-time (hourly) opening. The full-time opening is for office hours, during the week with one requirement for an evening appointment period throughout the week. Full Time position is Salaried at $50,00-75,000 and Part Time position is paid hourly wage at a rate between $24 to $35 per hour. Wages can vary depending on license level and experience.

The interview process consists of 1st phone interview with Recruitment and Talent Development Coordinator and 2nd Interview Department Team Leader. 

Requirements

  What You Bring:

• Required: Licensed mental health professional in the state of Iowa (LISW, LMSW, LMHC, t-LMHC, LMFT, t-LMFT).
• Preferred: Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of trauma and its impact on individuals and families.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work at least one evening per week and provide services in-office and via telehealth.
