Position Summary:

The Outside Services Golf Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club. This position is responsible for all aspects of outside golf operations, including cart staging, bag handling, driving range maintenance, and ensuring members and guests receive outstanding, friendly service from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  Greet members and guests in a professional, welcoming manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with loading/unloading golf bags and transporting them to/from storage or guests’ vehicles.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain and prepare golf carts for use, including cleanliness, charging, and staging.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep the cart staging area, bag drop, and surrounding grounds clean and organized.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and maintain the driving range: set up stations, collect and clean balls, and ensure range supplies are stocked.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide accurate and courteous information about course conditions, pace of play, and club amenities.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with tournament setup and breakdown as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Report any cart or equipment issues to the Golf Operations Manager.

  
  


• 
  

  Uphold Waynesville Inn and Golf Club standards of service, appearance, and professionalism at all times.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Prior experience in golf operations or hospitality preferred, but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer-service mindset.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

  
  


• 
  

  Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license required.
