Job Summary & Deliverables
The Behavioral Health Technician assists the multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide therapeutic and daily living services and structure to clients within a modified therapeutic community. The BHT also supports the workflow of the milieu and assists with de-escalation and emotional regulation.
Models and teaches independent living skills
Interacts with clients, observes behaviors, and communicates significant observations to treatment team
Distributes medications and follows medication management procedures
Collects urine analysis screens
Performs routine room and living-area inspections
Completes and maintains required documentation
