Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is located on 160 acres in northern Cherokee County and is home to around 40 young men in foster care.

GVBR is looking to hire additional Overnight Staff.

Overnight Staff will:

Provide assistance to the primary house couple during the shift in the home by completing the following tasks:

• Overseeing any needs that arise at night with youth residents.
• Completing checks at 15 minute increments to ensure resident safety.
• Assisting with maintaining cleanliness in the home.
• Completing necessary documentation.
• Assist in maintaining the home and ensuring the safety of youth residents in the home.

Additionally the right Overnight Staff candidate will be Self-Starting, Dependable, Flexible, and have good Communication and Time/Priority Management skills.

Typical shift is 11pm to 7am. This is a part-time position; 1-2 nights over occasional weekends and vacation coverage as needed. $17-$20/hr depending upon experience.

Requirements

Overnight Staff will need to have:

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED, or a degree in a related field.
• At least three years of experience working with youth struggling with emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Must be of good character, supportive of the programs, policies and ideals of GVBR.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable by the GVBR insurance carrier.
• Must hold or be willing to seek First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current or previous experience with TCI or CPI Certification preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to provide moral, ethical, and spiritual leadership that coincides with the program and policies of GVBR.
