Emerald Youth Foundation has paid, part-time positions available this school year starting as soon as August 4, 2025 serving in their afterschool programs.

  There are 3 kinds of  positions available afterschool with Emerald Youth this year and position options range from semester only to the full school year. Ideal availability are between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday:
  
  


• General Afterschool Role - Lead varying structured learning and enrichment activities afterschool with elementary or middle school students. 


• Learning Role - Perfect for aspiring teachers and/or to fulfill a teaching practicum. Facilitate components of and implement incentives for elementary and middle school students as part of the on-site computer learning lab.
  


• RecSports Role - Perfect for those interested in sports, health, and fitness. Plan and implement structured health and recreational activities for both elementary and middle school students.

3 Different References are Needed!

What is Emerald Youth?

We are a Christian ministry serving city kids since 1991. Every year, Emerald Youth serves more than 3,000 children, teens, and young adults in the heart of Knoxville through faith, learning, and health programs. Emerald Youth's [JOB TITLE] serve in the afterschool and summer programs of JustLead.
