Job Description - Painter / Home Service Technician


TruBlue of central Valley located in Tracy owns and operates Tracy, Stockton & Modesto territories.  Trublue Home Services Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations that provides trusted handyman repairs, home safety upgrades, and maintenance services to help seniors age in place and support busy families.

What You’ll Do
  • Surface preparation, Prep & clean surfaces, removing old paint as needed, sanding, patching cracks and holes  and repairing drywall or plaster
  •  Protection:  Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, landscaping using drop cloth, tarp and masking tape. 
  • Application: Apply paint, stains, varnishes, sealants to interior and exterior surfaces using sprayers, brushes and rollers.
  • Selection: Select appropriate primers, paints and finishes based on the surface type and the environment.
  • Painting Task: Paint walls and ceilings, doors, trim and cabinets, exterior siding and stucco.
  • Provide: Clean Crisp transition line and corners
  • Perform related general home repairs and maintenance tasks with care and professionalism
  • Support home safety and accessibility for seniors aging in place
  • Deliver reliable and respectful service to seniors, families and individuals

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of Painting Interior & exterior
  • Handyman experience
  • Complete set of tools to perform task, sprayer , ladder and scaffolding as needed  
  • Committed to quality, safety, and doing the job right
  • Reliable, courteous, and respectful in every interaction
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have valid car insurance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • We will run your DMV record
  • We will conduct background check
  • We will perform drug screen
  • Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
