Job Description - Park Attendant Farmers Market

Park Attendant – Farmers Market
Part-time/As-needed
Salary Range: $15-17/hour

JOB SUMMARY: As a Park Attendant, you will provide public service, grounds keeping, and event support under general supervision. Responsibilities include assisting the Market Manager, performing maintenance duties, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Must work Saturdays from 5am to 2pm from April to December.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Greet guests and vendors, assist with sales, and answer inquiries.
Maintain accurate revenue logs and issue receipts.
Provide information and support to park users.
Collect trash and maintain cleanliness in park areas.
Support park events with setup and cleanup.
Perform custodial duties and clean facilities.
Operate light equipment and perform maintenance.
Report hazards and attend department meetings.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum age of 18.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Familiarity with City policies and procedures.
Clerical and landscaping knowledge.
Understanding of safety precautions and equipment operation.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships.
Proficiency in performing basic math and record-keeping.
