Parking Attendant

JOB SUMMARY

This position provides Parking Services for all events at Benchmark International Arena and is responsible for the safe placement of vehicles in our lots and safety of all pedestrians in the area. Our VSG parking attendants are the first contact for our guests attending an event at our facility. Your professional and energetic demeanor are paramount in providing the foundation and basis for a World Class Plus experience for our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service

· Controlling/monitoring entry to the guest and employee parking lots

· Monitoring parking lots for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles

· Provide guests with directions and other venue information

· Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces

· Respond to all comments/complaints in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must comply without company policy of backgrounds checks.

· Must maintain an energetic, pleasant, and neat professional appearance.

· Punctual, dependable, and excellent work attendance required.

· Must be polite, friendly, and possess exceptional public relations skills as this position includes extensive guest contact.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.

· Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language

· Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people

· Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.

· Ability to work in loud environments

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

· Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times

· Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

· Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
