Description

Ottine Mineral Springs, Central Texas’ newest wellness resort, is excited to prepare for our soft opening in Spring 2025! Located in the tranquil rolling hills of Central Texas, we offer a sacred and peaceful place for relaxation and serenity. With our historic healing mineral springs, thoughtful amenities and events, we’re excited to provide a new source of nourishment and wellbeing to the area.

PARKING ATTENDANT (PART-TIME) The Parking Attendant at Ottine Mineral Springs will guide guests to designated parking areas, assist with nighttime navigation, and provide courteous golf cart escorts to the front desk. This position will also be responsible for helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment by patrolling the parking lot and supporting our safety team in monitoring the grounds. 

This position requires some nights, weekends, and holidays. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide clear, friendly directions to designated parking areas.
  • Safely operate a golf cart to escort guests between the parking lot and resort entrance.
  • Provide warm, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all guests, answering questions about the property and our amenities.
  • Patrol parking areas regularly to ensure safety, security, and proper vehicle placement.
  • Assist guests in navigating the parking lot, especially during low-light conditions or inclement weather.
  • Monitor parking lot activity and report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with the resort’s safety response team to help maintain a secure and peaceful environment.
  • Report maintenance or cleanliness issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure pathways and walkways from the parking lot to the resort are clear and safe.
  • Support special events by managing traffic flow and coordinating overflow parking as needed.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks on golf carts and report any mechanical issues.
  • Contribute to a calm, positive, guest-centered atmosphere.
  • Be of service to our guests by attending to their needs with a warm, friendly and respectful presence.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the amenities and directions to / from resort.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Stay updated on safety and emergency procedures as well as OSHA requirements.

Due to changing operational demands and the need to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Additionally, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and modification.


Requirements

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical.
  • Team player and good communication skills and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Comfortable interacting with guests in a warm, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • CPR and first aid certification a plus and /or the willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • The person in this position will need to be comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor use space in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind) and at night.
