Part Time (2pm to 6pm) Front Desk Closer

Kids 'R' Kids of Legacy West is now hiring for a front desk closer that is personable, organized  and proactive.

As the first person that parents, children and staff will see, your charm and enthusiasm need to be felt immediately! 

You will create a welcoming environment for children and parents while efficiently handling administrative duties. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Greet parents, children and visitors with warmth, professionalism and compassion 


• Answer incoming phone calls, taking messages and communicating in a clear manner


• Create tour packets for parents inquiring about our school


• Filing assorted documents  in the proper places 


• Keep up with organizing the back credenza to prevent clutter 


• Monitor who enters the building and ask for proper identification if required 


• Maintain accurate count of children throughout the day 


• Assist with student drop off and pick up


• Help distribute classroom materials and supplies as needed 


• Must be willing to fill in various classrooms as needed for coverage 


• Be willing to work 2pm to 6pm with the ability to earn additional hours in classrooms if full time employment is needed 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required. A degree in early childhood is preferred but not required. 


• At least one year of experience working at a front desk in a preschool environment 


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and willing to learn Pro Care which is the school management software 


• Must pass a background check and be willing to obtain CPR certification


• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds 


• Complete a closing checklist and ensure doors are locked and secure 


• Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service
