Position Title: Accounting Specialist Part Time

Department: Accounting

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor

Position Overview: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Support the preparation of invoices and purchase orders.
• Provide support during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account discrepancies.
• Learn and comply with company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation:

• Base salary range of $17.00 per hour
