Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 9:00AM - 5:30PM (Saturday and  Sunday)

Position: Activity Assistant
Location: 225 N Lomita Ave. Ojai, CA 93023

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging activities promoting resident wellness
• Support social interaction and independence in daily activities
• Organize various events and leisure activities
• Facilitate physical and educational programs
• Foster community involvement and personal growth
• Take photos of residents during activities
• Collect and organize photos from the Executive Director (ED) to ensure accurate record-keeping of all visual materials. Upload and manage photos on the facility's designated platforms, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Tag photos with relevant family members in the system and ensure they are accessible to them through internal platforms or communication channels.
• Provide support to the Activities Director by helping organize and prepare for daily activities and events at the facility. Assist with setting up, coordinating, and managing various activity-related tasks.
   

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• At least one year of related experience
• Ability to pass a physical exam and criminal record review
• Current training in Basic First Aid and CPR

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Lines of Supervision:

• Reports to the Activity Director and Administrator
