The Director of Career Technical Teacher Education Program (CTTEP) invites applications for Fall 2026. This position is to teach a 3 credit Fall 2026 course for technical educators on how students learn differently, using a strength-based approach, with an overview of applicable education laws for students with and without disabilities and how schools must provide multiple layers of support for students. It discusses assessment, eligibility, the special education process, components of Individualized Education Plan, 504 and EST plans. This course also provides students with instructional strategies to reach all learners. This course is cross listed with graduate credit courses. This means that the position requires the instructor to instruct both graduate and undergraduate students in the course. Minimum Degree Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in Education or related field. Career & Tech Ed teaching or administrative experience, experience teaching adult learners at the college level, and candidates with experience teaching special needs students is highly preferred.

Salary:
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
