Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm and close-knit family of four, which includes Mom, Dad, our adventurous 3-year-old son, and our curious 1-year-old. We love spending time together exploring local parks, visiting zoos and museums, and creating joyful memories at home. We’re looking for a playful, energetic, and reliable nanny to help with after-school care for our two boys.

A bit about you: You’re a self-starter who thrives on creating a fun and nurturing environment for children. Energetic, attentive, and safety-conscious, you know how to keep up with active little ones while maintaining structure and care. You have a safe and reliable vehicle with a clean driving record to assist with school pickups and outings. With experience caring for young children, you are playful yet sensible and have a proactive approach to household responsibilities related to the kids.

Job Duties:

School pickup (from Mercer Island) for both children using your vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
Engaging in age-appropriate activities to keep the children entertained and learning.
Preparing and serving basic kid-friendly snacks or warming up meals.
Light household tasks, including: unloading the dishwasher, cleaning up toys in the living and play areas, child-related laundry, and maintaining a safe and fun environment.

Start Date: January 6, 2025.
Location: Seattle, WA, 98112
Position Highlights: Excellent pay package, fantastic city location, long-term year-round outlook, and guaranteed hours!
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of professional nannying experience.
Safe and reliable vehicle with a clean driving record.
COVID-vaccinated and up-to-date on all immunizations.
Strong references from recent nanny positions.
Must be located in or near Seattle and familiar with the area.

Set yourself apart: Do you love creating fun, imaginative play scenarios? Familiar with local Seattle parks, museums, or activities for kids? Have lots of energy and experience with active toddlers and preschoolers?
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM.

Pay: $32-38 an hour

**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
