Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm, active family seeking an experienced nanny to care for our preschool-aged son during weekday afternoons and evenings. With both parents working full-time, we value quality family time and are looking for a nanny who will feel like an extension of our family, someone who’s engaged, playful, and intentional. Our son is beginning preschool this fall, and we’re excited to find a caregiver who can support his learning and development after school.

A bit about you: You’re a warm, attentive, and engaging caregiver with experience supporting toddlers and preschoolers through developmental play, reading, and early learning. You know how to gently connect with shy children and help them feel comfortable and excited to engage. You take initiative in planning fun, enriching activities and are confident driving with a clean record. Most importantly, you’re looking for more than a babysitting role, you enjoy fostering learning and building meaningful connections with the children in your care.

Job Duties: You will be responsible for picking up our son from preschool and caring for him until bedtime. This includes providing a snack, engaging him in play-based learning, reading books, outdoor time at the park (weather permitting), supervising mealtime, helping with bedtime routines, and tidying up any toys or materials used during the day. While dinner is prepared by our family, light snack prep and help with child-related cleanup is expected. Sundays are optional but would be greatly appreciated if you are open to them.

Start Date: We're hoping for someone to start as soon as the right match is found, though we absolutely need care in place by September.
Location: Bellevue, 98004
Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours. Long-term, stable position. Warm, welcoming household where you’ll be treated like family. Optional, additional hours on Sundays. Willing to discuss additional benefits with the right fit nanny.
Qualifications: Multiple years of experience working with preschoolers. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and own vehicle. Reliable, proactive, and nurturing personality. Trustworthy, with a focus on safety and development. Vaccinated against Covid-19. Glowing references from recent nanny positions.

A caregiver who enjoys being part of a family’s rhythm, is socially outgoing, and can mirror our love of learning, food, and culture will thrive in this role.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 3:00–8:30 PM
Sunday, 3:00–7:00 PM (optional)

Pay: $32-39
