Job Description - Part-Time Animal Care Attendant (Seasonal, Temporary)

We’re looking for a part time Animal Care Attendant to join our open-admission, for-all animal shelter. Being a “for-all” shelter means that SPCA Tampa Bay will not limit admission or refuse to take in a pet. As part of the operations team, you’ll have hands-on experience working with a variety of species! This is a temporary position.

What you’ll do:

Provide care for shelter animals including cleaning, feeding, and watering.

Maintain cleanliness of kennels and enclosures.

Provide emotional and tactile enrichment for shelter pets.

Previous animal handling experience a plus.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
