Job Title: PT Armed Security Officer  

Location: Edmond and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma  

Direct Protective Services is currently seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for individuals looking to maintain a consistent weekend schedule with the potential for additional hours as needed.  

Schedule:  

- Fridays: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (10 hours)  

- Saturdays: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (5 hours)  

- Sundays: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (4 hours)  

Key Responsibilities:  

- Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence.  

- Monitor entrances, perform regular patrols, and deter unauthorized activity.  

- Interact respectfully and courteously with staff, customers, congregants, and the public.  

- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.  

- Prepare and submit accurate reports regarding daily activities and incidents.  

- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.  

Skills and Qualifications:  

- Valid armed security license and relevant certifications.  

- Strong observational and communication skills.  

- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.  

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.  

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.  

- Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
