Part Time Assistant Softball Coach

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for an Assistant Softball Coach to work part-time on our campus in Manchester, NH. You will report to the Head Coach for Women’s Softball and will be responsible for coaching tasks and student athlete development.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the leading and execution of preseason and season practices.
• Help monitor conditioning programs
• Evaluate and provide input each athlete's performance and progress.
• Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting
• Assist with recruiting prospective student athletes
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions
• Possible attendance at any NE-10 conference meetings, any all-star balloting or voting meetings, and SNHU Athletic Department meetings
• Transport athletes and drive the team van to and from contests and pre-season practice or tournaments
• Maintain knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, and NCAA
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned at any time

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate, high school, or club level
• Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured by the university's auto insurance carrier to drive on campus when needed
