The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all phases of a sports program to include the following: coaching, conditioning, contest preparation, scouting, practice planning, fund raising, purchasing and care of equipment, planning and supervision of team travel, and monitoring the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes.

Assist with the recruitment of qualified student-athletes. Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and the Enrollment Management staff to recruit student-athletes.

The selected candidate will have knowledge and experience in coaching and/or playing a specific sport. Knowledge of Thomas College, NCAA, and NAC rules and regulations. Must have the ability to drive to athletic contests and recruiting events. 

Bachelor’s degree (required). Prior intercollegiate playing and/or coaching experience (required). Valid driver’s license, successful driver’s license background check, and successful completion of van familiarization course required. Criminal background check required.
