We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Bus Driver / After School Explorer Teacher to join our team and help provide a fun, educational, and safe experience for our students.
Job Hours: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
Bus Driver Duties:
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other designated locations.
- Ensure the bus is maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with students, parents, and staff.
Explorer Teacher Duties (After-School Program):
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for school-age children.
- Supervise students to ensure a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
- Assist with homework and encourage creative and critical thinking.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavior.
- Promote Primrose’s Balanced Learning® curriculum and foster a love for learning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
