Part time Business Assistant

 The Business Assistant is to build and maintain a fluid business department, where employee and business needs are met with timeless professionalism. As a result, employees understand their expectations are more satisfied in their role and can confidently serve our community.

• Pray daily for the mission of Coalition Life 
• Assist with processing of donations
• Review, maintain, and negotiate contracts
• Has a working knowledge of tax credit and processing of donor tax credit
• Assist with tracking and processing of donor tax credits
• Assist with work in QuickBooks, such as but not limited to: categorizing, matching transactions, reconciling and attaching receipts into QuickBooks
• Conduct onboarding and orientation process
• Conduct office training
• Assist with drafting and keeping track of policies and procedures
• Assist with statements, invoices and drafting of formal letters 
• Assist with paperwork and other business-related matters
• Answer incoming calls and be available to answer donor questions and concerns within 24 hours of inquiry

• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the executive and the company to outside parties
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
